Coaching staff

Ku’ulei Kabalis-Bianconi serves as the Volleyball Program Director and Varsity Head Coach at Trinity Valley School, where she led the team to an SPC Championship in 2024 and a 3rd-place finish in 2025. A native of Hilo, Hawai'i, Ku’ulei brings over 16 years of elite experience as a Division I athlete, professional player, and collegiate coach.

Before joining TVS, Ku’ulei held coaching positions at the NCAA Division I and II levels, including Abilene Christian University, Chaminade University, and Hawaii Pacific University. Her coaching tenure is marked by a history of program success, including multiple conference runner-up finishes and top-three rankings. As the Co-Director of HI Intensity Volleyball and founder of HI Tide Volleyball Training, she is a recognized expert in player development and college recruiting, leveraging a vast national network to help student-athletes secure scholarship opportunities.

As a player, Ku’ulei was a standout libero for the Kansas State Wildcats, contributing to an NCAA Sweet 16 run and earning Academic All-Big 12 First Team honors. Her decorated playing career also includes an NJCAA National Championship at Western Nebraska and professional experience in the PVL with the Florida Waves. She holds a Master’s degree in Sports Studies and Athletic Administration.
